RECYCLED TITANIUM. MANUFACTURING POSSIBILITIES.info@ky-he.com
KYHE / TITANIUM TECHNOLOGY

Quality & Traceability

Evaluate a material using its batch identity, measured properties and the requirements of the manufacturing process. Our quality approach connects incoming titanium resources, powder characterization and component-level evaluation.

Three levels of material evaluation

01 / INCOMING MATERIAL

Start with the feed material

Review the feed source and composition before processing. The use of recycled resources makes material identification and traceability important to the supply discussion.

02 / POWDER BATCH

Characterize what is supplied

Review chemical composition, particle distribution and the relevant flow, density and morphology data. Connect results to the material batch.

03 / APPLICATION

Verify after processing

KYHE uses MIM specimens for batch-related mechanical evaluation. Additional application tests should follow an agreed plan.

Define the data before comparing it

Powder and part data have different meanings
DataWhat to establish
Chemical compositionElements measured, mass-percent units, test method and acceptance limits; identify the measured batch.
Particle-size distributionD10, D50 and D90, nominal specification and measurement method.
Flow and powder densityFlow-test conditions; distinguish apparent density from tap density and finished-part density.
MorphologyIdentify the imaging and measurement method. Circularity and three-dimensional sphericity are not interchangeable labels.
Mechanical propertiesSpecimen geometry, manufacturing route, heat treatment or HIP if used, test method and number of specimens.
Batch acceptanceSeparate typical reference values from a measured result and a contractual acceptance limit.

Documents to discuss for your order

  • The agreed material specification and its revision.
  • Batch or lot identification and the relevant test results.
  • Sample or specimen reports where included in the evaluation scope.
  • Applicable recycled-content and certification documents.
  • Any additional tests required by the end application.

Tell us which reports your organization needs. Availability, test scope and any additional validation work should be confirmed before procurement.
